Description of Event: A robust and confirming understanding of anatomy and physiology is essential for supporting sexual wellness across diverse lifespans. Yet dominant narratives often reflect cisnormative, heterosexist, and binary frameworks that marginalize transgender, gender expansive (TGE), and intersex experiences.

Description of Event: This course is designed for both professional mental health workers AND individuals looking to establish safety and connection in their KINKY sex practices. We'll examine how incorporating the modern science of Interpersonal Neurobiology with KINK dynamics can allow for increased co-regulation and self-regulation skills so we can fully enjoy the ANXIETY and STRESS we intentionally invite into SEX.

This is a 1 hour introductory course on kink-affirming practice. We will cover common misconceptions about kink, the history in therapy of overpathologizing sexual behavior, and basic kink terminology and concepts, as well as resources for further self-study.
