Title: University of Wisconsin - Stout Graduate Certificate in Sex Therapy
The UW-Stout Graduate Certificate in Sex Therapy Program is designed:
• Currently licensed mental health professionals (LMHP)
• Current graduate students pursuing a degree to become an LMHP
Who are needing to complete their training requirements to become an AASECT Certified Sex Therapists.
This program provides all requirements for
• Core Knowledge areas
• Sex Therapy Training
• Attitude and Values Training Experience (SAR)
The Graduate Certificate in Sex Therapy (STC) requires the following four classes for a total of 11 graduate credit hours; all classes are hybrid (synchronous and asynchronous):
HDFS 730 Advanced Human Sexuality, 3 credits (48 CEs)
HDFS 731 Sexual and Gender Diversity, 3 credits (48 CEs)
MFT 732 SAR, 1 credit (16 CEs)
MFT 733 Advanced Sex Therapy, 4 credits (64 CEs)
Learners have the opportunity to arrange the timing of the courses in order to complete the program in 3 months, 9 months, or 15 months.
Applications are now being accepted for acceptance into the program for Fall 2024 or Winter 2025 start dates.
Date: Start dates for program include: Fall 2024, Winter 2025 and Spring 2025.
