Somatic Consent Training

Title of Event: Somatic Consent Training

Description of Event:
A half-day online training that guides counsellors, social workers, and coaches to support clients exploring consent through trauma-informed somatic exercises.

Through a balanced variety of didactic and experiential learning opportunities focusing on best-practices in sex therapy, you’ll engage with a deeper and more nuanced framework for consent as well as learning new tools, strategies, and exercises to implement with your clients in sessions.

No prior sex therapy training is required, and this workshop implements an anti-oppressive, feminist, disability justice, sex-positive lens that ensures you can confidently and competently use what you learn with clients of all genders, backgrounds, cultures, identities, and experiences.
