Navigating Sexual Fantasies in Couples Therapy: Ethics, Safety, and Consent

New Reflections Therapeutic Services invites sex therapists, mental health professionals, healthcare professionals, educators, and other helping professionals to participate in Sexual Wellness Month 2026, a four-week live learning series designed to make conversations about sexuality, intimacy, relationships, and sexual health more informed, comfortable, and clinically relevant.

Throughout September, participants will explore timely sexual wellness topics through engaging, practical, and evidence-informed half hour trainings with a 15 minute question and answer. Each session is designed to bridge clinical knowledge with real-world application while creating space for questions, reflection, and professional growth. Each live session is about .75 ASSECT CE credit hour or 3 ASSECT  credit hours. The recorded sessions will be .5 credit hour totaling 2 AASECT credit hours for the 4 weeks.

Sexuality Counseling (SC) Training: 

SC-E. Ethical issues in sexuality counseling.

Sex Therapy (ST) Training:

ST-B. Techniques of sex-related assessment and diagnosis of the Psychosexual Disorders described in the current edition of the DSM.
ST-C. Theory and methods of approach to intervention in relationship systems experiencing sex and intimacy problems.
ST-D. Theory and method of approach to medical intervention in the evaluation and treatment of psychosexual disorders.
