The Other EQ: Erotic Intelligence Masterclass

Title of Event: The Other EQ: Erotic Intelligence Masterclass

Description of Event:

The Other EQ: Erotic Intelligence Masterclass is a 2.5-hour trauma-informed, pleasure-affirming personal healing and professional learning experience designed for queer-affirming clinicians, sex educators, and healing professionals seeking to expand their capacity for ethical, embodied, and consent-centered practice.

Erotic intelligence is not about sexual technique—it is about erotic literacy: the ability to attune to desire, regulate the nervous system, engage relationally with consent and power, and integrate sexuality as a core dimension of WHOLE-self wellness. Drawing from somatic psychology, neuroplasticity, Polyvagal Theory, healing justice, and decolonial erotic frameworks, this masterclass invites participants to explore erotic intelligence as an essential competency for both personal healing and professional effectiveness.

Through didactic teaching, guided somatic reflection, and applied clinical framing, this training supports professionals in cultivating an erotic presence that is ethical, culturally conscious, and grounded in nervous-system awareness. This masterclass centers queer, trans, and BIPOC experiences of the Global Majority and emphasizes erotic intelligence as a both a clinical skill and leadership skill that disrupts burnout, desirability politics, and erotic disconnection within one's embodiment, in addition to, clinical and institutional settings.
