In this immersive training retreat, the Magic of Isis in the sacred land of Kemet meets Andean healing to create a transformative space for integrating sexuality and healing. Together, we will explore diverse cultural perspectives on sexuality through a pluriverse lens, while delving into the ancient mysteries and wisdom of Isis. Participants will learn how sexuality was understood and expressed in various ancient cultures, and how these expressions shift across cultural and geographic landscapes. During the retreat portion, you will also experience Andean energy healing practices firsthand and discover the therapeutic benefits of this powerful modality.

Learning Objectives:

1. Explore world views on sexuality.
2. Explore views on sexuality in Kemet.
3. Explore Andean views on wellness and sexuality.
4. Advance knowledge of sexual expressions, practices and behaviors across cultures, and geographies.
5. Explore different ways of how the Andean Cosmovision can be utilized as a lens into sex therapy.
6. Explore different ways of how teachings from Kemet can merge with Andean Cosmovision as a tool to understand sexuality and spirituality.
7. Describe and explore one’s own view of the use of holistic approaches in sex therapy.
8. Identify the intersection of your own personal journey and sex therapy and learn how this can facilitate a more expansive healing space for our clients.
9. Demonstrate an understanding of how to collaborate with holistic healers.
10. Apply learned skills in course to sex therapy cases.

Sex Therapy (ST) Training:
SE3: Ethical Issues in sexuality education
ST5: Principles of consultation; collaboration of referral
ST7: Practicum Experience: Exposure to treatment of clinical sexy therapy cases through direct observation, demonstration, case review, or role playing. eLearning cannot be applied. Applicants must be very clear in their documentation as to how they gained exposure to sex therapy cases.
