Title of Event: Join Our BIPOC-Led AASECT Group Supervision (6 Hours of Connection + Growth)
Description of Event:
Aloha,
I’m so excited to personally invite you to our upcoming 6-hour AASECT Group Supervision, kicking off on April 30, 2025! This group is all about creating a safe, collaborative space where you can grow your skills, deepen your knowledge, and feel supported in your professional journey.
Here’s what our time together will look like:
Group Supervision 1: April 30, 2025 | 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM HST
Group Supervision 2: May 14, 2025 | 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM HST
Group Supervision 3: May 28, 2025 | 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM HST
What makes this group special?
Each session is capped at just four participants, so you’ll get plenty of personalized attention. In every 2-hour session, you’ll have:
- 30 minutes focused just on your cases
- Tailored support for your growth, questions, and goals
- A chance to connect meaningfully with peers in the field
Whether you're working toward certification or simply looking to deepen your expertise, this is an awesome opportunity to check off AASECT supervision requirements and feel truly seen and supported in the process. Just a heads-up—having sex therapy or counseling clients on your caseload will help you get the most out of these sessions.
A little about me—let’s get personal.
Hola, hi, aloha! I’m a proud Mexican American, born and raised in the Chicagoland area, but Hawaii has been home for the past 20 years. I'm the first in my family to graduate from college and earn a doctorate—and that journey has deeply shaped my work and who I am today.
Early in my career, I often felt disconnected from the sexual health field. Most of my education came through white-centric lenses, and I longed for something that felt more me. Founding The Sexual Health School and embracing decolonizing practices changed everything—it’s been freeing, healing, and transformative.
I’ve spent over 20 years in social work and mental health. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), clinical psychologist, and AASECT-certified sex therapist and supervisor. I bring structure, care, and culturally grounded practices into all I do—integrating EFT, decolonizing frameworks, and culturally centric lenses to meet you where you're at.
Now, my mission is simple: to help you thrive—professionally and personally.
