Many were celebrated and even worshipped as divine! Despite this historic record, most modern representations of gender - including those upheld in clinical and academic settings - center one skewed depiction of gender: the colonial-era binary of boy/girl, man/woman.

Having spent the last five years running virtual workshops for sexuality and mental health professionals and having developed over a dozen slide decks with multiple iterations, I’ve learned how to build accessible, ethically sourced, interactive slides.
