Title of Event: Medical Issues in Sex Therapy - a supervision group for CSTs.

Description of Event:

Designed specifically for CSTs seeking broader knowledge of human physiology and health issues affecting sexual engagement and experience. Designed specifically for non-medically trained, behavioral health professionals to improve client/patient care and facilitate collaboration between medically informed sex counselors and CSTs. Attend all 3 groups or the group of your choice. Space is limited to facilitate discussion.

Grounded in the Ackerman Relational Approach (ARA), this 30-hour course explores advanced topics in sex therapy including sexuality and disability, transgender phenomena, paraphilic disorders, non-monogamy, asexuality, sexual compulsivity, surrogate partner therapy, sexsomnia, tantra, technology and intimacy, and ethics in a changing world.
