Kink as a Pathway to Repair, Attachment, and Self-Compassion

Title of Event: Kink as a Pathway to Repair, Attachment, and Self-Compassion

Description of Event:

This 90-minute workshop explores how consensual, intentional dynamics can create space for reconnecting with unmet emotional needs and early relational experiences. Through an emphasis on safety, communication, and clearly defined boundaries, participants are invited to examine how power, play, and vulnerability support emotional awareness, self-trust, and healing.

This workshop is designed to help clinicians ethically and effectively integrate these concepts into clinical practice. It helps frame intimacy—both sexual and non-sexual—as an opportunity to deepen connection to the body, cultivate aligned relational experiences, and facilitate emotional release within a controlled, affirming environment.
