Description of Event:
This course explores sexuality, identities, sexual arousal, response, pleasure, and relationships for individuals with neurodiversities and intellectual disabilities. It examines attitudes and beliefs about sexuality and people with disabilities and focuses on the benefits of sexuality education and the increased need for accessible knowledge in these populations. The course covers working with parents and caregivers and provides participants with the skills to develop their own materials for working with these populations. Participants will receive 12 hours of (virtual) live and interactive lectures and discussions as well as 12 hours of pre-recorded content with the instructor and other participants.
