Description of Event: This 1-hour course explores the essential role of eroticism in human experience and its implications for clinical practice. Participants will examine how erotic expression intersects with intimacy, identity, and relational satisfaction, as well as the barriers that can disrupt healthy erotic connection. Through theory, case discussion, and practical interventions, therapists will gain tools to help clients better understand their erotic needs, address challenges, and cultivate a more fulfilling and integrated sexual self.  
 
Learning Objectives:  Participants will be able to describe the fundamental human needs related to eroticism and analyze their influence on sexual and relational wellbeing. Participants will be able to demonstrate 3 evidence-based clinical interventions that facilitate clients’ exploration and integration of their erotic needs in therapy.
