Title of Event: The Mirror and the Masks Intensive

Description of Event:

This class guides participants into the purposeful practice of decentering themselves—learning to truly listen, be held accountable, and show up in vulnerable Black spaces with respect and emotional maturity. Through shared language, historical grounding, and embodied reflection, learners examine how privilege, white supremacy culture, white fragility, saviorism, microaggressions, and white-centered norms shape their interactions and impact Black people. Participants leave with deeper self-understanding, the ability to receive feedback without defensiveness, and the skills to move through Black-led spaces with cultural awareness, integrity, and care.
