Title of Event: This Girl is on Fire: Menopause Online Sexceptional Weekend

Description of Event: Presenters will include Dr. Justin Lehmiller (Research Fellow at the Kinsey Institute), Dr. Cynthia Graham (Senior Scientist at the Kinsey Institute),  Dr. Lauren Streicher (clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine), and more! This weekend training will delve into new scientific research on menopause, as well as practical strategies for helping clients and patients in peri-menopause and menopause.

Drs. Lehmiller and Graham will highlight new findings from the Womanizer Menopause Study, a research project conducted at the Kinsey Institute in early 2024. The study comprises data from a nationally representative sample of 1,500 US women ages 40-65 and addresses a number of understudied sexual health topics in women who are approaching menopause and those who are in various stages of it. Topics addressed in the survey include menopause symptoms and relief strategies, sexual function, orgasm, masturbation, sexual difficulties, doctor-patient communication, fantasies, and more.
