Description of Event: Genito-pelvic pain/penetration disorder is often misunderstood. This course will dive into how to assess and diagnose this disorder, explore the potential causes of pain, along with sex positive treatment interventions for your clients who present with it.
 
Course Objectives:
  • Identify the DSM diagnostic criteria for GP/PPD
  • Summarize at least 3 different causes for GP/PPD
  • Name 4 or more assessment questions to ask clients to identify the origins of the pain
  • Identify at least 4 different treatment options for clients
