Description of Event: This seminar is for anyone with lingering questions about the intersection of fat and health. The HAES model doesn’t mean healthy at every size yet many of us feel silenced about expressing our concerns that fat bodies may impose some health risks to clients. I am an experienced medical provider who has spanned the size continuum and has come to rest at what feels like my “real” weight. I also feel that the HAES model has been grossly misunderstood and mis-applied in clinical care. AASECT CEUs available. Cost is: $50.00. Date: 11/9/25 from 10-12 EST.
