This is a 3-day course held on Nov 2-4, 2026 at the Homewood Suites French Quarter in New Orleans, LA.

What do you really know about yourself when it comes to sex?

What do you think you know about what other people do? What's on the web is often stereotyped or commercialized and it's definitely not enough information. What are your feelings, and what is your scope of knowledge about intersections of identities within orientation, gender, race, kink, age, fetishes, ability, BDSM, power play, polyamory or consensual non-monogamy? Come to New Orleans and find out!

Feelings about the vast spectrum of sexuality in all of its glory and strangeness can interfere with or add tremendously to relationships and personal happiness. This course has been developed to introduce participants to a broad range of human sexual behaviors, orientations, and various identities through discussion, art and movement activities, speaker panels and explicit media. You will experience greater comfort and ease when dealing with sex and sexual issues while opening the mind and having fun, too.

Field trips to local kink clubs and burlesque tours are being planned as optional parts of your experience.

SAR is a great tool for clinicians, educators, clergy and medical personnel, but it is also a wonderful experience for individuals or partners. It is a personalized event that takes you through a journey of understanding the erotophobia in our society, the unnecessary angst that we have over sex, and the next steps to comfort and wellness with our whole bodies. SAR is highly recommended as a precursor to any other ISEE course, as it prepares participants for a deeper level of discussion for subsequent classes.

Workshop schedule

8:45 AM-5:30 PM Monday-Wednesday with optional field trips to various places in the city in the evenings that will enhance your learning.

A 90 minute lunch allows more time to explore New Orleans' French Quarter's famous food.

Homewood Suites French Quarter is located on the edge of the French Quarter, so it is quiet but an easy walk to everything you want to see and do.
