Class Description: This course will allow participants to examine the ways in which current and historical systems of harm and oppression have contributed to a culture of erotophobia and how they have perpetuated harm against dehumanized and underrepresented communities. We will explore our individual relationships to our identities, to our sexuality and to our sexual and reproductive health, using the Intersectionality framework alongside other afro-indigenous frameworks and imagine the ways in which we can empower our own work as sexuality professionals to uplift the global majority and move us toward erotic liberation.
