Sexuality Counselor / Sex Therapist:
- One 4.5-day session: Synchronous Live Online Interactive
- One 4-day session: Synchronous Live Online Interactive
- Six 2-day weekend sessions: Synchronous Live Online Interactive
- One 15-hour session: Asynchronous Self-paced
Sexuality Educator:
- One 4.5-day session: Synchronous Live Online Interactive
- Seven 2-day weekend sessions: Synchronous Live Online Interactive
- One 15-hour session: Asynchronous Self-paced
Dual Track: Sex Therapist & Sex Educator or Sexuality Counselor & Sex Educator:
- One 4.5-day session: Synchronous Live Online Interactive
- One 4-day session: Synchronous Live Online Interactive
- Nine 2-day weekend sessions: Synchronous Live Online Interactive
- One 15 hour session: Asynchronous Self-paced
Core Knowledge Area(s): SHCP provides educational content that meets the requirements for the 90 hours of AASECT Core Knowledge Areas (CKAs) for Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. All content areas of the CKAs (i.e., A-Q) are covered, with at least 3 hours of training in each category.
Sexuality Counselors: SHCP provides the advanced training that meets the requirements for the 60 hours of AASECT Sexuality Counselor Training requirements. All content areas of the Sexuality Counseling Training (i.e., A-F) are covered, with at least 3 hours of training in each content area.
Sex Therapists: SHCP provides the advanced training that meets the requirements for the 60 hours of AASECT Sex Therapist training Requirements. All content areas of the Sex Therapy Training (i.e., A-F) are covered, with at least 3 hours of training in each content area.
Sexuality Educators: SHCP provides the advanced training for 45 of the 60 hours of the AASECT Sexuality Education Training requirements. All content areas of the Sex Education Training (i.e., A-E) are covered, with at least 3 hours of training in each category.
