AASECT Diplomate of Sex Therapy Carolynn Hillman died at her home in Teaneck, NJ on December 7, 2013 at the age of 71. In addition to being a certified sex therapist, Hillman was a licensed clinical social worker and a psychoanalyst who practiced in New York City for 38 years. She also served as faculty member, senior supervisor, and training analyst at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health in New York and the Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New Jersey. Hillman was the author of two self-help books: Recovery of Your Self-Esteem and Love Your Looks.
