En este taller experiencial exploraremos qué es la sanación andina y diversas formas de comprender la sexualidad desde una perspectiva pluriversal. La experiencia permitirá a los participantes acercarse a la Cosmovisión Andina y a la interconexión entre la sexualidad, el cosmos y la naturaleza viviente, así como comprender cómo estas relaciones pueden integrarse de manera reflexiva en la terapia sexual. A lo largo del taller, los asistentes participarán en prácticas andinas de sanación energética que facilitarán una vivencia profunda y contextualizada de estos saberes.
In this experiential workshop, we will explore Andean healing and diverse ways of understanding sexuality from a pluriverse perspective. The experience will allow participants to approach the Andean worldview and the interconnection between sexuality, the cosmos, and living nature, as well as understand how these relationships can be thoughtfully integrated into sex therapy. Throughout the workshop, participants will engage in Andean energy healing practices that will facilitate a profound and contextualized experience of this knowledge.
Learning Objectives:
- Explore different ways of how the Andean Cosmovision can be utilized as a lens into sex therapy.
- Explore the Andean view on wellness and sexuality.
- Identify the intersection of your own personal journey and sex therapy and learn how this can facilitate a more expansive healing space for our clients
- Demonstrate an understanding of how a holistic lens into sex therapy can assist in the conceptualizing of client’s needs.
- Apply learned skills in course to sex therapy cases.
Sex Therapy (ST) Training:
SE3: Ethical Issues in sexuality education
ST5: Principles of consultation; collaboration of referral
ST7: Practicum Experience: Exposure to treatment of clinical sexy therapy cases through direct observation, demonstration, case review, or role playing. eLearning cannot be applied. Applicants must be very clear in their documentation as to how they gained exposure to sex therapy cases.
