oin us for a live, virtual continuing education webinar on understanding sexual trauma impacts along the reproductive path. This training addresses the prevalence of sexual trauma and is a call to action to support survivors at every step of their healing. Expand your trauma-informed practices and increase sense of clinical competency -- as well as nervous system capacity -- to respond to unexpected disclosures while working with the perinatal and parent populations. Participants will gain understanding of unique clinical presentations and considerations, systemic injustice and impact of stigma on the individual, as well as a discussion of perinatal specific cases. Gain foundational skills to preserve the therapeutic relationship, uphold trust, offer hope, and leave with resources/tools to directly apply to your practice - even if not currently doing trauma processing work. Our mission is for perinatal clinicians to feel more at ease with the tenderness of this topic.
