Description:
What is intimacy? Is it inviting? Is it terrifying? In this full-day class, we will have open discussions and embodied exercises to clarify what it means to have intimacy with ourselves and with others. We will distinguish the differences between sexual expression and skills in intimacy. We will explore emotional intelligence as well as the importance of conflict in building intimacy. We will bring in more awareness to our bodies and the role they play in gaining more skills in all of our relationships. In this class we learn through experience of play, discussion, and experiments with ourselves and others, reminding us that intimacy is essential to the complexities of our sexual and non-sexual relationships.
