This Course is designed for both professional mental health workers AND individuals looking to establish safety and connection in their KINKY sex practices.  This course focuses on incorporating the modern science of Interpersonal Neurobiology with KINK dynamics to allow for increased co-regulation and self-regulation skills so that we can be more intentional and get more enjoyment and pleasure out of the ANXIETY and STRESS that we intentionally invite into our sex.

This lecture will use the concept of “good sexual citizenship” to help participants identify and challenge factors like gendered messages, trans- and homophobia, racism and trauma, which contribute to sexually hostile and dangerous environments. Strategies for creating positive community standards and tools for community assessment will also be covered.

This course is designed to help participants gain an understanding of Islamic views and language regarding sexuality and a sex-positive framework to address the challenges this population faces regarding sex.
