We'll examine how incorporating the modern science of Interpersonal Neurobiology with KINK dynamics can allow for increased co-regulation and self-regulation skills so we can fully enjoy the ANXIETY and STRESS we intentionally invite into SEX.

Grounded in the Ackerman Relational Approach (ARA), this 30-hour course explores advanced topics in sex therapy including sexuality and disability, transgender phenomena, paraphilic disorders, non-monogamy, asexuality, sexual compulsivity, surrogate partner therapy, sexsomnia, tantra, technology and intimacy, and ethics in a changing world.

Talking about sex can feel uncomfortable—for clients and therapists alike. Yet sexuality is an essential part of human experience and often intertwined with issues of identity, connection, trauma, and wellbeing. This interactive 3-hour workshop helps therapists who are newer to the topic of sexuality move from avoidance to authenticity in addressing sexual topics in therapy.
