President Bill Clinton demands the immediate resignation of U.S. Surgeon General Jocelyn Elders for saying that solo sex should be included in sex ed courses in American schools. The Lancet’s comment: “Jocelyn Elders will go down in history as a distinguished pediatrician and clinical research worker, and a very courageous Surgeon General who was dismissed for speaking the truth.”
