What a sex therapist needs to know about pelvic pain conditions. This 1 hour CEU will provide an overview of various pelvic pain conditions including multiple types of vestibulodynia, pelvic floor dysfunction, pudendal neuralgia, lichen sclerosus, etc.

Title of Event: Disability and Medical Conditions in Sex Therapy

Description of Event:

Sex can pose an additional challenge to those who are differently-abled or who are partnered with those who are differently-abled. This course will examine some of the ways to additional challenges these clients experience and helps therapists feel comfortable navigating sexual difficulties with those who may have limitations in ability or who are experiencing medical conditions.
