New View of Female Sexuality Campaign

Dr. Leonore Tiefer launches the New View of Female Sexuality Campaign to bring attention to the medicalization of sexuality. The campaign attempts to draw distinctions to the wide range of influences on female sexuality including the “social, political, and economic conditions, including widespread sexual violence, [that] limit women’s access to sexual health, pleasure, and satisfaction in many parts of the world.” (New View Campaign manifesto).
