Philosophy:
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who serves individuals, families, and couples across the lifespan (i.e., children, adolescents, and adults). My approach to treatment and evaluation incorporates a holistic appreciation of the physical, behavioral, psychological, environmental, interpersonal, and spiritual factors that contribute to your sexuality related concerns. My goal is to assist you in living fully and obtaining your optimal level of wellness. I am passionate about assisting clients as they work to develop effective coping strategies, increase their problem solving abilities, heighten feelings of hope, process and reframe their experiences, develop skills to live their best lives, as well as increase their comfort with and positive attitudes about sex, their sexual identity, and the consensual sexual behaviors of others. By working collaboratively and non-judgmentally with those in my care, I provide a safe, warm, and caring space for those struggling with mental health, emotional, behavioral, as well as sexuality related concerns. I believe that each client’s unique experiences and choices must be respected. I additionally understand that explorations into motivations, triggers, and behavior are frequently useful and needed to help clients obtain their desired outcomes.
