Other Information:
We started EYT because too many people — especially those in LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities — had been failed by therapy spaces that claimed to be inclusive but weren’t. Our clinicians are trained in affirming care for gender exploration and transition, non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships, kink and BDSM, sexual identity, intergenerational trauma, and more. We offer an anti-oppressive sliding-scale fee structure so that cost is never the reason you don’t get support. No gatekeeping. No shame. Just honest, collaborative therapy that meets you where you are. We also believe that most of the shame people carry about sex, desire, and intimacy wasn’t theirs to begin with. It was handed to them - by families, religions, cultures, and a society that has never been comfortable talking honestly about sex. That shame is real, and it has consequences: in how we relate to our bodies, our partners, and ourselves. Sex therapy at EYT is a space to set it down. Whether you’re an individual untangling complicated feelings about desire, a couple navigating intimacy that has quietly drifted, or an LGBTQIA+ person whose sexuality has simply never been treated as normal — you deserve care that meets all of that without flinching. Our therapists are sex-positive, kink-aware, and practiced at working with the full range of human intimacy. You won’t be pathologized here. You’ll be understood.
