Philosophy:
My practice is grounded in a sex-positive, non-pathologizing approach to human sexuality. I believe that sexual concerns are not signs of dysfunction or failure, but meaningful signals—often reflecting deeper patterns related to stress, identity, relationships, and lived experience. I work primarily with men and couples who feel stuck in cycles of performance pressure, disconnection, or shame around sexuality. Many of the individuals I support have never been given the language, education, or permission to explore their sexual health openly. As a result, they often carry silent struggles related to erectile difficulties, performance anxiety, pornography use, low desire, or challenges with intimacy and communication. My approach integrates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and evidence-based therapies to help clients move out of overthinking and into embodied experience. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I guide clients toward a deeper understanding of their internal world—helping them build awareness, regulate anxiety, and reconnect with their bodies and partners in a more authentic way. I view therapy as a collaborative process rooted in curiosity, compassion, and accountability. Clients are not “fixed” in therapy—they are supported in developing the skills, insight, and confidence to navigate their sexual lives with intention and integrity. I am particularly committed to challenging shame-based narratives around male sexuality. Cultural messaging often teaches men to suppress emotion, prioritize performance, and equate worth with sexual success. My work actively disrupts these narratives by creating space for men to experience sexuality as something relational, flexible, and deeply human. Ultimately, my goal is to help clients move from pressure to presence, from avoidance to engagement, and from disconnection to meaningful intimacy—both within themselves and in their relationships.
