Philosophy:
I focus on the intersection of an individual's or couple's experience of emotional, relational, and physical well being and help them to address areas of concern. This is done using cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, Imago couples therapy, and insight-oriented techniques. I also use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help individuals resolve overwhelming or traumatic past experiences that have created barriers to experiencing well being in the present.
Other Information:
I welcome LGBTQ individuals and couples. In addition to doing therapy focused on sexual health issues, I work with individuals and couples dealing with issues such as excessive conflict, emotional distance, depression and anxiety.
