I believe that self awareness, self acceptance, respect for the rights and preferences of others and good communication skills provide the foundation for the ability to enjoy sex throughout the life cycle. We live in a culture that promotes unrealistic expectations of sex which contribute to feelings of shame and inadequacy. Helping clients to identify the negative beliefs that are getting in the way of sex being a positive force in their lives is a primary goal. With that as a basis we can develop strategies for addressing their particular problem or issue.
