My philosophy of psychotherapy is that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. As a systemic thinker, my believe is that understanding an individual’s problems in the context of their relational, family, community and social system helps generate improved outcomes to resolve presenting problems. My theoretical underpinning is rooted in systems theory. I use the problem centered/ metaframeworks approach that operationalizes a unifying way of integrating schools of therapy. Presenting problems are identified by constraint(s) that exist within core domains of human functioning. and I assist in lifting those constraint(s) that prevent healthy psychological functioning and well being.
