Dr Perelman was a National Institute of Mental Health Fellow, and wrote the first sex therapy doctoral dissertation in Columbia University’s history. He is the Co-Director of the Human Sexuality Program, Payne Whitney Clinic of the New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, founded over thirty years ago by his late mentor Dr. Helen S.
