My work is about exploring the patterns and limits that keep couples stuck, so that they can come back to a freer, more creative way of living and loving. I draw from sex and couples work, CBT, and nervous system-based approaches like TRE; the results have been remarkable. When we work with the nervous system, couples find a way to release deep-held stress from the body and return to a greater degree of intimacy with each other. Our relationships are exquisitely sensitive to stress, present or buried, no matter where it comes from. Stress becomes a wall between partners, because the energy it takes to hold and control our reactions is energy we no longer have to offer each other. As the nervous system settles, couples soften and open. They find their way back to each other. When the body releases what it's been holding, couples discover a deeper, more honest connection becomes possible.
