Dr. Pasahow has spent over thirty years helping individuals and couples achieve intimacy in all aspects of their relationship. Dr. Pasahow's published book Sexy Encounters - 21 Days of Provocative Passion Fixes (January, 2003, Adams Media Corp) was developed in response to the needs of her patients whose number one complaint was no time/no energy for sex. The program's success rate of over 90% has been astounding and gratifying to her. She is the only therapist nationwide using this particular form of treatment. Dr. Pasahow is also a Certified EMDR Therapist, Certified Somatic Experiencing Therapist (SEP), Couples Therapist and Psychoanalyst. Additionally, Dr. Pasahow's synthesis of sex therapy, hypnotherapy, trauma treatment and cognitive approaches provides a unique and effective approach to even the most challenging sexual problems.
Monday 8:30am - 5:30pm, Tuesday 8:15am - 9:00pm, Wednesday 10:00am - 6:00pm and Thursday 8:15am - 7:30pm.
Treatment is usually short-term in nature, pragmatic and goal oriented, reflecting the real life concerns of todays individuals and couples. Goal setting and monitoring of progress is provided on a regular basis in collaboration with both patient(s)and therapist.
Besides her private practice, Dr. Pasahow works closely with the medical community in order to provide an integrated and effective approach to treating patients. She is a frequent lecturer at hospital department meetings and she is quoted frequently in women magazines, TV and radio shows. Dr. Pasahow is also a member of the National Registry of Who's Who.
