My counseling philosophy as a sex therapist is grounded in the belief that sexuality is a core aspect of human identity, deserving of compassionate, evidence-based, and affirming care. I approach this work from a sex-positive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive lens, recognizing the impact of attachment history, relational dynamics, medical factors, and sociocultural influences on sexual well-being. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals and couples can explore desire, intimacy, identity, and relational patterns with honesty and curiosity. Through collaborative goal-setting and integrative interventions, I support clients in reducing shame, increasing self-awareness, strengthening communication, and cultivating fulfilling, consensual sexual and relational experiences.
