Bat Sheva Marcus, Ph.D. is one of the founders and the Clinical Director of The Medical Center For Female Sexuality. Marcus has also been involved in numerous drug studies on female sexual dysfunction including studies on Viagra testosterone and Flibanserin.
Bat Sheva earned her Ph.D. at the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco, CA. Her dissertation research was on vibrator use in women. Marcus also holds a Masters degree in social work from Columbia University as well as a masters degree in public health. She is certified by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) as both a counselor and a supervisor.
She has long history of work with non-profit and feminist organizations and has lectured internationally on women’s issues. She has been a guest on numerous radio and television shows including CBS News and News 12 Westchester, and has appeared in the New York Times, Time Magazine and Westchester Magazine.
