Diplomate Certified Sex Therapist and longtime AASECT member Wendy Maltz's book The Porn Trap: The Essential Guide to Overcoming Problems Caused by Pornography (coauthored with her husband Larry Maltz) is now available in an (uncensored) Chinese translation. Several years ago, a young female translator from China, Ms. Carmen Song, approached the Maltzes requesting permission to translate the book. She insisted that there was a great need for the book in China. Song was able to interest Law Press of China in serving as publisher. Maltz says, "It's groundbreaking for China to open a discussion about pornography."
The Chinese name for the book is 跳出色情陷阱 which loosely translates as, "Out of the Porn Trap."
