Title of Workshop: Holistic Assessments and Therapies (H.A.T.) model for the Assessment, Diagnosis, Treatment and Management of Sexual Dysfunctions.
Based on European models the H.A.T. training has three broad components: Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes geared toward the needs of mental health professionals in addressing sexual dysfunctions of their clients and patients. It aims to train competent and confident psychosexual therapists who can effectively and holistically address clients sexual concerns. These newly acquired Knowledge, Attitude and Skills will be applied within the following four stages of clinical practice: Assessment, Diagnoses, Management/Treatment and Follow up.
Dates: Second Saturday of each month
Module 1: January 14, February 11, February 11, March 11, April 8, May 13, June 10, (No modules for July and August), September 9, October 14, November 11, December 9.
Each module will start at 9am and will go until 5pm.
Location: Palo Alto, CA, specific location to be announced to the registered participants.
