Philosophy: |
Psychodynamic in philosophy but eclectic in approach. The treatment needs of each individual are different so therapy must be adjusted accordingly. Often a combination of insight, cognitive, and behavioral therapies are useful. Overall, therapy is the relationship between therapist and client and this relationship is used to work on life stressors. In our lives problems arise with family, work, emotions, illness and interpersonal relationships which are addressed in therapy. | |
