Northern Arizona University named Andrew S. Walters, PhD, MPH, its 2014 President's Distinguished Teaching Fellow, the University's highest teaching honor. Walters is a professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences who studies sexuality education, gender performances, sexuality, and sexual health in under-represented and ethnic minority populations. The three-year fellowship allows him to develop and teach his dream course, and also to serve on the board of the Northern Arizona University Teaching Academy. Walters is an AASECT-certified Sexuality Educator.
